Introduction

Happiness is contingent on three key ingredients: meaning, hope, and purpose. While we can’t all be happy, all the time, finding happiness—in our lives, our families, our work, our relationships—is a worthwhile undertaking. I work with individuals (aged 14 and up) of all genders, sexual orientation, religious or spiritual beliefs, and ethnic and cultural backgrounds to seek meaning, hope, and purpose in our lives; to develop skills and tools to overcome challenges and begin to thrive. I also work with couples and families. I collaborate with my clients on day-to-day challenges as well as on life transitions—which often include grief and loss. I focus on issues related to anxiety, depression, career, relationships, communication, conflict, co-parenting/parenting after divorce, and trauma. In a nonjudgmental environment, I strive to “meet my clients where they’re at” and thus tailor my therapy approach to the needs of clients, including but not limited to, humanistic approaches, narrative approaches, Solution Focused, and CBT. I currently provide services solely via telehealth (video). My clients often prefer this approach because it allows them comfort, flexibility, and convenience—in particular, no commute or childcare! In time I intend to include some in-person/face-to-face again. On a personal note: I have not always been a therapist, although my career has always focused on helping people live better lives. My life path has been varied and my diverse experiences often inform my practice. Through my own personal work and self-reflection, however, I know I’m right where I want to be, right now—helping others.
