Introduction

Hi, I'm M. Welcome to Hearthside Counseling. As a queer and non-binary therapist, I have a special interest in providing competent, affirming care to the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly to transgender and gender expansive adults. I approach therapy from a compassionate, person-centered perspective, and draw from an eclectic range of therapeutic styles. I truly believe that therapy is most effective when it's collaborative - you are the expert on you; sometimes you may just need a little outside perspective to tap into that expertise in new and grounded ways. I appreciate the vulnerability it takes to share your story, and I can't wait to get to know you. I am currently only licensed to offer care to folks living anywhere within the state of Ohio. If you are looking for LGBTQIA+ competent care as an out of state resident, I would be happy to try to connect you with resources as I'm able.
