**Under supervision of Magnolia** Mabel is a second-year Master of Social Work (MSW) student. She was born in Ghana and holds a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Africana Studies. Mabel is passionate about working with children, youth, and families as they navigate access to higher education, counseling services, and community-based resources. Her professional and volunteer experiences are rooted in nonprofit and community-centered work. Since 2019, she has been actively involved with, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing underserved communities with footwear, sporting goods, educational resources, and other essential items. In addition, she is involved in promoting the support initiatives focused on eliminating stigma surrounding mental health and increasing access to mental health education, resources, and advocacy. Through these roles, she is committed to empowering communities, fostering resilience, and promoting equitable access to support and opportunity.
