Introduction

I have been a counselor for over 35 years and am honored to have been able to assist others during periods of personal growth and challenge. As a strength-based clinician, I foster resilience, courage, and fortitude within clients. I believe life entails a vast continuum of experiences – some joyful and others difficult. I am here to offer support as you traverse your life experiences. I have extensive experience counseling adults in the prison system, adolescents in youth corrections, and most recently providing psychotherapy for over 5 years on a virtual therapy platform. I have helped clients reduce anxiety and depression, as well as improve self-esteem. I have also helped clients recover from abusive relationships that included gaslighting and other forms of abuse. I use a plethora of tools to assist clients. These interventions include cognitive-behavioral techniques, dialectical behavioral concepts, core belief restructuring, and mindfulness activities. I help clients pursue post-traumatic growth through integration of past traumatic experiences. I enjoy supporting others and look forward to the opportunity to assist you!
