Madelyn Palacios, M.S., LPC-Associate, NCC Licensed Professional Counselor Associate * License #95681 Supervised by Sarah Almendariz Rivera, LPC-S My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and truly supported as you begin your journey toward healing and growth in your life. Reaching out for help can feel overwhelming! I strive to meet each person with compassion, understanding, and care from the very first conversation. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from UTSA in 2021, and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UTSA in 2024. (Birds Up!) I work with adults (18+) who have experienced trauma, as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, and significant loss. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, and I use evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy in my everyday practice. As a TF-CBT trained therapist, I support clients in gently identifying, processing, and healing from the impacts of their experiences—always at a pace that feels right for them. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Together, we will create a path forward that honors your unique story, strengths, and goals. If you’re looking for a nonjudgmental, compassionate space to feel heard and supported, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
