Life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don't have to navigate it alone. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported while building the tools needed to create meaningful, lasting change. As a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI), I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and student-athletes experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. Born and raised in Central Florida, I am passionate about serving the community that helped shape me. I earned my M.S. and Ed.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida State University after completing my B.S. in Psychology at Bethune-Cookman University, where I was also a collegiate athlete. My experiences as both a student and an athlete allow me to understand the unique pressures that can come with balancing performance, expectations, identity, and personal well-being. My approach to counseling is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. I integrate Person-Centered Therapy with evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and develop confidence in navigating life's challenges. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, adjusting to a new chapter, managing stress, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel empowered to grow, heal, and move forward. Taking the first step toward therapy can be difficult, but you don't have to do it alone. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
