Introduction

Hi! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in helping children, teens, young adults, and adults navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, and difficult life experiences. I am an EMDR-trained therapist and Certified Child & Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP), and I use trauma-informed approaches to support healing and emotional resilience. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by past experiences, or stuck in patterns of self-doubt and self-criticism. Others are navigating grief, major life transitions, or challenges in relationships. Therapy can provide a supportive space to slow down, make sense of these experiences, and begin moving forward with greater clarity and confidence. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I draw from evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and solution-focused strategies. When working with children and adolescents, I also incorporate play-based and creative interventions to help young clients express themselves and build coping skills. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-backed therapy that helps the brain process difficult memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming. This approach can be particularly helpful for trauma, anxiety, phobias, grief, and other distressing experiences. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for support, therapy can be a meaningful step toward healing. I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
