Introduction

Hi, I'm Madison! I earned my Master’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in North Carolina (License #A21643). I also received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Grove City College. My journey into the mental health field began in 2018 as a Post-Adoption and Child Preparation for Permanency Caseworker. Since then, I've had the privilege of working with children, families, and individuals in alternative school settings and intensive in-home services. Along the way, I've completed specialized training in Safe Families, Eco-Systemic Family Treatment, Therapeutic Counseling, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, and Preventing Teen Suicide. I believe that healing happens best in a space where you feel safe, seen, and genuinely cared for. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where you can show up just as you are, knowing you'll be met with compassion, curiosity, and support. I primarily work with adult women navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, burnout, self-esteem concerns, boundary setting, parenting, women's issues, and church-related hurt. I have also worked as an educator and that experience continues to shape my work today. I especially enjoy supporting teachers who are feeling overwhelmed or struggling to find balance, as well as parents navigating the joys and challenges of raising children through every stage of development. If it's important to you, I'm also happy to incorporate faith-based counseling from a Christian perspective into our work together. I believe there's no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I tailor each session to your unique needs, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches and incorporating creativity when it feels helpful. When I'm not in the office, you'll usually find me spending time with family and friends, serving at my local church, taking long walks with my dog, or planning my next road trip to visit the people I love. Send me a message to set up a 15- minute consultation call if you are interested in working together!
