Introduction

Hello, I’m Maggi Rocha, LCSW. I am a licensed therapist working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating challenges related to identity, emotional regulation, executive functioning, anxiety, and the complex transitions that come with being human. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive, grounded space where clients can show up as they are without judgment. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, drawing from person-centered, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed, and intersectional frameworks to help clients better understand themselves, build effective coping tools, and create meaningful, sustainable change at their own pace. I hold a B.A. in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Carthage College and an MSW from UW-Green Bay. I have completed TAC CASE Adoption Competency Training, am a certified DBT provider, and have extensive experience supporting marginalized communities as an OutCare Health Provider. In this space, we begin by meeting you exactly where you are. There is nothing in you that is not welcome here. PLEASE NOTE: I am currently in the process of accepting insurance plans for Medicare, Forward Health, Anthem BCBS, Security Health Plan, Aspirus Health Plan, and United Healthcare. If you would like to be notified when I am in-network with these plans please reach out via email to appointments@ploverriverllc.com
