I am a Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) who works with children ages 10+, teens, young adults, adults, and families across the lifespan. I believe the relationships in our lives matter, including the relationship we have with ourselves. Our experiences and relationships can shape how we see ourselves, how we connect with others, and how we move through the world. Therapy gives us a chance to better understand those pieces of ourselves and make changes that feel meaningful. I also believe therapy can be meaningful without feeling overly formal or intimidating. Some of the best work happens when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, laugh when you need to, be honest about the hard stuff, and know that the person sitting across from you genuinely gets it. I bring warmth, curiosity, empathy, and personality into the room, while making sure our work is thoughtful and tailored to what you or your family actually need. I earned my Master of Arts in Family Therapy from Saint Louis University and my Bachelor of Science in Family Science from Miami University. Throughout my work, I have especially enjoyed supporting teens and young adults as they navigate growing independence, relationships, identity, and all of the changes that come with these stages of life. I also love working with families to better understand one another, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges together. My experience extends across the lifespan and has included working with older adults experiencing cognitive decline, as well as caregivers and family members navigating the changes that can come with aging. Working with people and families through so many different stages of life has continued to shape the way I think about relationships, family roles, and the importance of feeling supported through change. Above all, I want therapy to be a place where you can show up as you are. This is the best place to practice being YOU! Together, we can make sense of the patterns and experiences that have shaped you, strengthen the relationships that matter most, celebrate progress along the way, and work toward a life that feels more like your own. I truly believe that finding the right fit is one of the most important parts of therapy. You deserve a therapist you feel comfortable talking to, someone you feel genuinely understands you, and maybe even someone you look forward to seeing! When the fit feels right, it can make all the difference.
