My mental health journey began upon moving to Dallas in 2015, following graduation from The University of Alabama, where I majored in Public Relations and Communication. I had what I would call an “existential crisis” between public relations positions and entering the workforce in a new city without being near my family and old friends for the first time in my entire life. I began seeing my therapist, which was a catalyst for changing my life and career path. I received my Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University in 2021, with provisional licensure as both an LPC-A and LMFT-A, under the supervision of Claudia Ivette Lampl, LPC-S and LMFT-S. Initially, I worked with families and couples at the SMU Center for Family Counseling in Plano. Afterward, I worked at Innovation360, an outpatient mental health provider in Dallas, helping clients overcome addiction, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges for over two years. Since then, I have had my own private practice where I help individuals, couples and groups find and reclaim the spark within themselves.
