Counseling is for everyone. It's really my honor to walk with people through difficult seasons in their lives, watching them come out with new perspectives and strengths. I am a steady person to hear your story with care, and help you figure out your next steps when you're unsure of the next right thing. I have vast experience with crisis, trauma, grief/loss, new serious diagnosis, school issues, and professional caregiver burnout. I enjoy working with folks of all ages, including young children and teens. My hope is to help you ease the emotional and mental suffering that goes along with life-rocking transitions, to find optimal functioning and wellness in the life you want. When serving children I also work with parents. My goal is to help you find the words to explain difficult situations in age-appropriate ways, and to stay connected to your child through challenging family experiences. I am a children's grief specialist, and enjoy working with the whole family on their grief journeys as individuals and as a family unit. I bring a lot of warmth, compassion, and humor to the counseling environment. In our work together, I hope you will find new ways to find relief and access joy. If you think we'd be a good fit in our work together, I'd love to hear from you.
