Hi there! I am Mahjabeen Qazi, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor, based in Arizona. I have clinical experience in working with a wide range of people of different ages, ethnicities, genders, and sexual orientations. I specialize in helping individuals with physical, emotional, sexual, and religious trauma histories, heal from the very real impact of traumatic stress. I also have experience with successfully addressing other mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life transitions, such as adjusting to life after divorce. In my work, I integrate multiple therapeutic orientations such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Existential therapy, Dialectical Behavior therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Relational Cultural therapy, and Feminist therapy. For those seeking support with trauma processing specifically, I use IFS-based practices and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (an eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing technique similar to EMDR). I value building a strong, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic relationship with my clients, and I hope for therapy to be a safe and reflective space for you, where you can learn to take a step back, in order to carve out a more intentional and fulfilling path forward.
