You may know something in your life needs to change, but it is not always clear why certain thoughts, emotions, or patterns keep showing up. I help you understand yourself, heal from painful experiences, and create meaningful change. I am a licensed therapist (LCSW) with a master’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed approaches into my work with clients. -----------Couple Therapy----------- Are you lonely even though you're in a relationship? You may find yourselves having the same arguments, feeling unheard, or wondering how you became so disconnected. In couple therapy, I integrate EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Parts-informed Relational Life Therapy (RLT) to help you move beyond the conflict and reconnect with the person you fell in love with. ---------Individual Therapy--------- In our sessions, we’ll focus on both immediate change and lasting growth. We’ll use practical strategies to help you manage current challenges, strengthen coping skills, and begin making meaningful changes from the very first session. At the same time, we’ll explore the deeper patterns behind your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, so the changes you make can continue beyond therapy. ------------First Session------------ The first session is for us to take time to understand what’s bringing you in and what you’d like to change or feel differently about. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns and relevant history, but you set the pace and we only go as deep as you feel comfortable. Together, we’ll start identifying clear goals and a direction for our work that feels realistic and helpful for you. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and leave with a clearer sense of next steps.
