Hello! I am a Licensed Master Social Worker- U/S who provides counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults navigating emotional, behavioral, and life transitions. My work centers on creating a steady, thoughtful therapeutic space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported. I like to approach each individual as a whole person rather than a set of symptoms or circumstances. With children, I incorporate developmentally appropriate play therapy techniques to help them express emotions, strengthen coping skills, and process experiences such as divorce, grief, and significant change. I like to integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help young clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, fostering emotional regulation and healthier responses. I partner closely with parents and caregivers, offering education and practical strategies that strengthen family relationships and support growth at home. I also enjoy working with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, and pivotal life transitions. Using evidence-based, CBT-informed approaches, I like to help clients gain insight, develop practical coping strategies, and make meaningful progress in their daily lives. I do hold a particular interest in supporting individuals living with Type 1 Diabetes and other chronic health conditions, addressing the psychological and lifestyle complexities that often accompany long-term medical care. My aim is to help clients maintain a strong sense of self beyond any diagnosis.
