My name is Margaret (Malgorzata), and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in work with adolescents and adults. I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to seek support. The decision to begin therapy is often bittersweet—it can mean that something feels heavy or overwhelming. Whatever you are facing, you do not have to navigate it alone. I believe in your capacity to grow, heal, and move forward, and I would be honored to support you in that process. Before co-founding a private practice with my friend and colleague, I worked in a hospital setting, providing care to some of the most vulnerable adolescent and adult populations. My clinical experience also includes over eight years of working in Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), These experiences have shaped my approach to therapy and provided a strong foundation in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also have extensive experience supporting immigrants and first-generation individuals who may face unique identity-related struggles. Drawing from both personal and professional experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds—including European, Asian, Indian, and Arabic communities—I strive to create a culturally sensitive and affirming space where these topics can be explored openly. My primary goal as a therapist is to help you reconnect with your authentic self and embrace who you are—regardless of what you have experienced.
