Introduction

My name is Malinda (Poe) Yellon and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Idaho (LCPC-9663). I approach counseling from a client-centered and holistic view. I think what each person needs from counseling can be as unique as each person is themselves. I do my best to work with you to get you where you are trying to go. I often describe counseling as functioning just like the inside of your brain, I just get to be present for a while and help find new perspectives or solutions that can be hard to see on your own. I have experience working with issues such as depression, anxiety, major life transitions, anger issues, relationship issues (romantic partner, family, workplace, etc), grief, and spiritual/faith-based issues among others.
