I am a licensed clinical social worker and EMDR therapist specializing in trauma. My therapy helps African American children, youth, and families move from survival mode to a place of emotional safety, confidence, and stability. My work is rooted in the belief that creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood is essential for healing from trauma. I specialize in helping clients process and release the impact of traumatic experiences so they can feel more in control of their emotions, improve their relationships, and show up more fully in their daily lives. Through our work together, clients often experience reduced anxiety, fewer emotional triggers, improved behavior, and a stronger sense of self. Families begin to feel more connected, communication improves, and children gain the tools they need to feel safe, regulated, and supported. My approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and focused on real, lasting change—helping you and your family not just cope, but truly heal.
