Introduction

Hi there! My name is Marasia Moss and I am a graduate level Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern through Walden University. I hold a bachelor's degree in Community and Therapeutic Recreation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My educational background has equipped a solid foundation in therapeutic practices and community engagement, laying the groundwork for my current work in mental health. With several years of youth and community based program management, I have honed skills in providing support to individuals facing a range of mental health challenges. I have worked with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, trauma, and life or career transitions. I emphasize a person-centered approach, ensuring that each individual’s unique needs and experiences are at the forefront of treatment. With a focus on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), I help clients navigate thoughts and patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and set goals that foster personal empowerment and emotional resilience. Together, lets navigate your mental wellness journey.
