Introduction

My name is Marcy and I am a Lubbock native, mom to an amazing adult son, and a former educator. I have 16 years of experience in secondary public education and in 2026, I am transitioning into counseling as my new career! Life with growing children and teens is a wild, beautiful journey, but big emotions and tough transitions can quickly leave you feeling drained. I love helping families rediscover their strengths! Working alongside children, teans, young adults, and parents, I share actionable tools that relieve daily tension and foster genuine connection. I am ready to welcome you with open arms, a smile, and a plan to get your family moving forward with confidence and peace. My approach with young children is play-focused, strengths-based, and relational. Play is a child’s natural language, giving them a safe space to process big feelings, build self-control, and grow into their confident selves when navigating challenges like ADHD, ODD, or emotional outbursts. Together, we turn struggles into opportunities for connection. Taking this first step is a big move forward! Reach out today for a free consultation. We’ll talk about what’s going on, answer your questions, and see if we’re a good fit to work together. I look forward to connecting!
