Hi there! I am Dr. Maren Jones, a licensed psychologist with more than 30 years of experience providing psychological services to adults, teens, children, and couples. In my private practice, Cedar Creek Psychology, PLLC, I provide online therapy for adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, stress, and overwhelm, as well as trauma, relationship challenges, parenting challenges, and self-esteem issues. My training includes a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from UCLA, APA approved internships and an APA approved post-doctoral fellowship. I am trained in EMDR therapy through an EMDRIA approved program. My experience includes providing psychological services in private practice, medical, educational, and law enforcement settings. The therapy I provide is tailored to the individual, drawing from multiple approaches based on each client’s needs, goals, history, and strengths. My approach is supportive, positive, and practical. I am credentialed to provide telepsychology services in Texas, where I am licensed, and in the 43+ states who participate in Psy-Pact.
