I work with the body as much as the mind. Somatic psychotherapy—body-based approaches to healing—engages the deep connection between what we feel physically and what we experience emotionally. Beyond traditional talk therapy, I invite you to notice physical sensations, explore how your body holds trauma or chronic stress, and cultivate greater presence and regulation. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief across young adulthood through later life, drawing on Somatic and Sensorimotor Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and experiential techniques. Whether you're processing a significant loss, recovering from trauma, or simply feeling stuck in old patterns, this integrated approach can help you access healing at a deeper level. I offer both individual and group sessions via telehealth or in-person, and I'm currently accepting new clients. I accept Aetna, Anthem, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and Maine Community Health Options. I'd welcome the chance to work with you.
