Introduction

Maria Fernanda Londono is a bilingual (Spanish- English) licensed psychotherapist in the State of Georgia. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, with a graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy, from the University of Georgia. She received the Outstanding Student Award Summa Cum Laude. After obtaining her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Georgia State University, she quickly grew her experience by working with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sexual abuse. More recent, Maria Fernanda has been helping adults that are affected by anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, behavioral problems, anger, family issues, in others. Maria Fernanda is also a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS II) and has extensive experience facilitating individual/group anger management classes for adults and couples. Maria Fernanda’s work is centered on evidence-based practices. Previous to opening Bilingual Counseling Services, LLC., Maria Fernanda worked in a private practice for 5 years and has worked in various nonprofit agencies in different capacities - Center for Navigating Family Change (CNFC), Caminar Latino, Gwinnett Sexual Assault Center & Children’s Advocacy Center (GSAC-CAC), Rainbow Village, the Latin American Association, and Atlanta Victim Assistance Inc.
