I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 14 years of experience providing therapy and over 20 years working in mental health and social services. My work is rooted in a deep commitment to racial justice, reproductive justice, and culturally responsive care. As both a therapist I hold space for healing at the intersections of identity, family, and community. I specialize in supporting Latinx/e, Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color who are navigating life transitions, trauma, and the emotional weight of systemic stressors. Many of my clients come to me carrying the impacts of intergenerational trauma, immigration and family separation, perinatal mood disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, interpersonal relationship violence, and complex family dynamics. Together, we work toward reclaiming voice, reconnecting with inner strength, and building tools for sustainable healing. As a bilingual and culturally attuned clinician, I honor the richness of our stories, our ancestors, and our resilience. I believe healing happens in relationship and in spaces where you do not have to explain your culture, code-switch, or minimize your lived experience. Your full self is welcome here. My approach integrates evidence-based practices— including Emotional Freedom Technique (“tapping”; EFT) somatic therapy, trauma-focused work, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing—with holistic tools such as mindfulness, meditation, gentle movement, and plant-based supports when appropriate. I believe in the strength of intersectionality and in treating the whole person: mind, body, spirit, culture, and community. I show up as warm, compassionate, and authentic. There is space here for tears, for laughter, for storytelling, and for rest. Healing is not about “fixing” you—it is about remembering who you are beneath survival. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you reclaim your emotional wellness and step into the next chapter of your journey.
