Introduction

Maria Osborne is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who believes healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and valued. She takes a whole-person approach to counseling, recognizing that our thoughts, emotions, relationships, experiences, and, for many people, faith all play an important role in the healing process. Maria works with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, and spiritual struggles. She is passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, strengthen emotional resilience, and discover the inner resources they already possess to move through life's challenges. One of Maria's greatest passions is helping clients develop greater self-understanding and self-compassion. She believes that when we learn to understand the different parts of ourselves with curiosity instead of criticism, lasting healing and growth become possible. Maria integrates evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's needs and is especially passionate about Internal Family Systems (IFS), continuing to deepen her training in this model. For clients who desire it, she also enjoys incorporating Christian faith into the counseling process while honoring each person's unique beliefs, values, and experiences. Her experience working with individuals from diverse religious, cultural, and sexual orientation backgrounds has strengthened her commitment to creating a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where every client is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Clients often describe Maria as kind, thoughtful, and calming. She strives to create an environment where clients feel comfortable exploring life's challenges, gaining insight, and building hope for the future. If you want to better understanding yourself with curiosity instead of criticism, I’m happy to be a part of your mental health journey.
