Maria Rheba Estante, LMFT, LPCC, has more than a decade of experience in behavioral health. Her early clinical training included community mental health, crisis assessment, trauma treatment, substance use treatment, and work with complex clinical populations. That foundation now informs a private-practice style focused primarily on thoughtful, depth-oriented psychotherapy with adults who are functioning well in many areas of life but want to better understand persistent emotional, relational, or behavioral patterns. She has a particular interest in working with professionals, high-achieving adults, creatives/artists, academics, executives, and other psychologically minded individuals who may appear highly capable externally while struggling internally with perfectionism, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, self-criticism, overcontrol, relational patterns, identity concerns, or unresolved experiences from the past. Many clients seek therapy not because they are in acute crisis, but because they want a deeper understanding of themselves and greater freedom in how they relate to work, relationships, achievement, and their own internal expectations. Her therapeutic integrates evidence-based approaches when appropriate, including EMDR, Brainspotting, ACT, CPT, and ERP. Her style is engaged, reflective, and direct, with an emphasis on helping clients develop insight while also creating meaningful change. She is a member of IOCDF, EMDRIA, and Newport Psychoanalytic Institute.
