Introduction

I am a bilingual therapist providing psychotherapy to children, families, adolescents & adults. My approach combines directness, honesty, compassion & genuineness which I use to address a broad range of challenges & help clients find the strength to change. I have experience working with families & individuals who experience depression, relationship & family issues, mood, anxiety & adjustment disorders & behavioral concerns. We will work together to emphasize, develop & grow your self-determination & strengths in order to empower you to make better decisions & provide you with hope & motivation. I use CBT & CPS models. CBT is problem focused & goal directed to examine the relationship between thoughts, feelings & behaviors & modify patterns of thinking to improve coping & daily functioning. CPS is an understanding of a child’s challenges & is an effective approach for reducing challenging behavior, improving communication & repairing relationships. I am committed to helping my clients develop self-awareness in a space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences. Initiating change can be challenging. Once you begin to experience the benefits of change, which include a sense of accomplishment, pride and relief, we will work together to ensure those gains persist as a normal part of your life.
