People often start therapy because they feel like their life, or their usual way of coping, isn’t helping anymore. You might be used to pushing through anxiety, overthinking, or self doubt while showing up for others and setting your own needs aside. Still, something feels off. You are managing work, relationships, and life transitions, but your armor is starting to crack. I work with adults who want to better understand themselves, build confidence, and move away from patterns that no longer feel sustainable. Many of my clients are first-generation, Hispanic, or neurodivergent. I offer online therapy for adults in VA and NJ. We create a space where you can show up as yourself without judgment. I use CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma informed care to support insight, emotional regulation, and behavior change. Our work may focus on boundaries, identity, relationships, and coping skills that feel more aligned with who you are. Reaching out may go against what you were taught, and it is normal to feel hesitant. I understand that personally. I became a therapist in part because I had a hard time finding someone who understood my experience as a neurodivergent, first-generation American. If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out and see if this feels like the right fit.
