Hi I am Marissa Witter Santamouris. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Qualified Supervisor (QS) with a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida. With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the privilege of supporting children and families through a variety of life experiences and challenges. My professional background includes facilitating grief support groups, providing case management and outpatient therapy, and serving as a school social worker in both elementary and secondary school settings. These diverse experiences have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to help clients navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, anger management, behavioral concerns, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, human trafficking, and grief. I have always been passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, recognize their strengths, and discover meaningful solutions to everyday struggles. My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My goal is to work collaboratively with each client to identify and overcome barriers, build on their strengths, and develop the tools needed to navigate life with greater confidence and resilience. Together, we can work toward greater self-understanding, personal growth, and a more fulfilling life—one that reflects your values, goals, and vision for your future. As a Qualified Supervisor, I am also passionate about supporting the professional growth and development of future clinical social workers, fostering confidence, competence, and compassionate care in the field of mental health.
