Hello, I’m Maritza Flores, MSW, a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker providing therapy through Healing & Growth. I work with adults and young adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, emotional exhaustion, family or relationship stress, and major life transitions. Many of the people I support appear to be managing well on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive. I integrate cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducational strategies based on each client’s needs, values, culture, and personal goals. I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can better understand their experiences, strengthen their coping skills, establish healthier boundaries, and work toward meaningful and realistic change. Therapy does not require waiting until life becomes unmanageable. Seeking support can be an important step toward feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself. Services are available in English and Spanish.
