Introduction

My name is Mark Chubb, Licensed Professional Counselor, and I am here to provide a safe, collaborative therapeutic experience. I am passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, and transform themselves. I believe in establishing a strong therapeutic alliance with all my clients to help them address trauma, behavioral change, grief and loss, and the many other challenges they may be facing. I am here to be your advocate, and I truly believe that therapy can be a transformative experience for anyone willing to try it. We will work together to understand why you are seeking help and to establish goals for treatment. I am committed to transparency about the therapeutic process, the techniques being used, and the expectations for results. I spent over a decade working in the service and hospitality industry, starting at the bottom and working my way into management and menu development. From there, I moved into commercial and residential construction, an area where I had worked part time previously. My full-time work in construction ranged from field work to project management, ultimately evolving into corporate construction management. In both fields I gained valuable insight that has served me well in my counseling practice. I understand the struggles of career development and the ever-changing landscape of the job market. Through all of this I felt called to serve people. Over time this call pushed me into a program for counseling psychology and led me to start my own counseling practice. My goal is to de-stigmatize therapy and help people transform into the best version of themself. In fact, the name True Health and Wellness has a deeper meaning that is at the core of what we do. Transformative Resilient Understanding Empowering Transformative mental health care builds resilience within you. Understanding yourself, and working with someone who understands you, empowers you to change yourself and the world around you.
