Marlena Allen is a Licensed Master of Social Work with nearly a decade of experience supporting children, youth, and families through complex life transitions. Her career has focused on advocating for the safety, well-being, and healthy development of young people from diverse backgrounds. During her graduate training, Marlena practiced as a school social worker at elementary and high school levels in Albuquerque Public Schools, where she addressed the social-emotional and behavioral needs of students while collaborating with educators, families, and community partners. Marlena's approach is rooted in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and meeting clients where they are. She creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can occur, drawing on her extensive experience working with children navigating trauma, families facing challenges, and individuals from varied cultural backgrounds. Marlena earned her Master's of Social Work from New Mexico State University and her Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Criminology from the University of New Mexico.
