Maybe you’re a parent trying to understand what’s underneath your child’s big emotions or behaviors. Or maybe you’ve spent years reading the room, walking on eggshells, overthinking, or putting everyone else’s needs before your own, and you’re realizing those experiences still affect you today. Therapy is a place to slow down, get curious, make sense of what feels hard, and discover new ways of moving through it. I support clients navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, C-PTSD/trauma, attachment, emotional regulation, impulse control, perfectionism, BPD, self-harm, defiance, self-esteem, demand avoidance/PDA, relationships, life transitions, & parent separation/divorce. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and human. We might learn practical skills, get curious about patterns and where they came from, create, play, practice something new, or simply make space for what you need that day. I draw from IFS-informed techniques, CBT, DBT, ACT, play and art therapy, and somatic-based interventions. I believe understanding why something is happening is just as important as knowing what to do about it. Rather than simply handing you a list of coping skills, we’ll work together to make sense of what’s underneath and find tools that actually fit. I’m ADHD-CCSP certified, with advanced play therapy training and working toward my RPT. I value supporting parents and collaborating with other providers along the way. You don’t need it all figured out, we’ll start where you are.
