I provide warm, safe, and gender-affirming therapy for teens and adults (ages 12+) who navigate the world differently. I specialize in supporting individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism (Levels 2 & 3), Down Syndrome, and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum (including those managing co-occurring challenges like OCD, anxiety and trauma). I presume competence in every client, respecting all modes of communication and sensory needs. My approach is slow-paced and uses mindfulness and grounding to help clients identify emotions and build daily confidence. I lead with curiosity and use clear, accessible language, always allowing for as much processing time as needed. In my sessions I prioritize dignity and real connection, ensuring every client feels heard. A Little About Me: I bring a unique perspective to my practice as a neurodivergent therapist living with a learning disability and vision impairment. I understand firsthand what it feels like to process the world at a different pace. My brain is wired for a gentler rhythm so I naturally offer my clients the patience and 'breathing room' they may struggle to find in a fast-moving and fast-talking world. I navigate the world through interdependence—living with my parents and utilizing community transit. I am proud to model that a meaningful life doesn’t have to look "typical" to be successful. I look forward to supporting you or your loved one on a similar journey of authentic self-expression. Supervised by Taya Miller LCSW # 70795
