Introduction

Somewhere along the way, you learned that to be loved you needed to be perfect, quiet, selfless — always “good” and never "too much". Maybe that meant hiding your needs, dulling your sensitivity, or putting yourself last. You may still feel the echoes of those messages in your relationships, in your body, and in the way you talk to yourself when no one else is around. You’re getting tired of performing, questioning your worth, and feeling somehow both too much and not enough. I work with people who’ve spent years trying to earn love through self-erasure, shaped by family-of-origin dynamics, rigid beliefs, chronic illness, or complex trauma. Using EMDR, parts work, and schema therapy, I help you identify attachment patterns, heal old wounds, and reconnect with the self you learned you had to hide. My approach is warm, curious, and collaborative. Therapy should feel like a soft place to land, not where you must be perfect or put together. I offer in-person sessions in East Nashville and online across Tennessee. You can visit my website to schedule a free phone consultation or initial appointment. I’d be honored to help you come home to yourself.
