In our work together, my primary goal is to create a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe to explore and express your emotions, thoughts, and experiences. I understand that seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, and I am committed to meeting you where you are in your journey. Whether you’re navigating difficult emotions, struggling with body image issues, or facing complex trauma, I believe that healing is possible with the right support and guidance. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, which means that we will work together to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your unique needs and goals. If you are struggling, I take a mind/body approach to treatment, which can help you understand and address the complex relationship between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors surrounding food and body image. I draw on evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the Unified Protocol, to help you build resilience and gain emotional regulation skills. We will also work on developing healthier coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and difficult emotions, enabling you to make progress both inside and outside of our sessions.
