I am a mental health counselor in training from Marshall University. I view the counselor’s role as that of a compassionate witness, supporting and empowering clients as they make sense of their experiences and strive to grow. I aim to create space where clients can safely explore their thoughts and emotions with curiosity and dignity. My clinical perspective is grounded in principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe that psychological flexibility is cultivated through awareness, acceptance, and intentional action aligned with one’s values. As client's explore their individual guiding values, my goal is to help them move toward meaningful, purpose-driven lives, even in the presence of discomfort. I am deeply committed to inclusive, culturally responsive practice. I strive to honor the diverse identities and backgrounds of each client, recognizing the impact of systemic, relational, and cultural factors on mental health. I approach this work with openness and a willingness to learn from those I serve.
