Therapy is a wonderful tool that can be used to gain insight into yourself, your life, and your struggles. I love working with clients on a variety of issues to help them better understand their problems and how to manage them. I have seen clients with depression, anxiety, OCD, suicidal ideation, religious trauma, and life stress. I also work with clients in the LGBTQIA2S+ community on things like sexuality, gender identity, gender dysphoria, and family issues. Clients typically come with a couple goals in mind, such as learning new coping skills or processing stressful or traumatic events. I have helped clients better understand their symptoms, identify what may be increasing their symptoms, and find ways to reduce triggers or better manage them. I have also helped clients with OCD identify their obsessions and compulsions and work on exposure and response prevention techniques to treat their OCD. I am a person-centered therapist and utilize a mostly non-directive, client-centered approach. While I do facilitate sessions, I believe you are the expert in your life and through a collaborative approach we can reach your therapeutic goals. I am a secular therapist and do not implement religious elements into my counseling sessions. However, I do respect, honor, and welcome clients from any religious belief or background. I offer free, 15-30 minute virtual or in-person consultations to see if I would be a good fit for you. Sessions can be virtual or in-person in the downtown Tulsa area. If you are interested in a consult or scheduling an intake appointment, please feel free to reach out and I will contact you as soon as possible. I look forward to working with you!
