Hi there! My name is Maryan, and I enjoy working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, life transitions, relationship or family challenges, or the pressure of trying to meet everyone else's expectations. Together, we will create a supportive and collaborative space to explore these experiences, build practical coping skills, strengthen self-awareness, and foster lasting healing, resilience, and meaningful change. Whether you are adjusting to adulthood, managing school or career pressures, navigating family or relationship concerns, or seeking a stronger sense of self, I value the opportunity to walk alongside you during these important seasons. As an Egyptian American, I strive to create a culturally responsive and inclusive space where clients from all backgrounds feel seen, understood, and respected. I understand how culture, family values, and faith can shape identity, relationships, and mental health, and I value supporting individuals balancing multiple identities or navigating complex family dynamics. For clients who prefer it, I also offer therapy in Arabic. Above all, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can take off the masks you wear in the outside world. My role is not to tell you who to become, but to help you reconnect with the person you were created to be and support you as you move toward a life marked by authenticity, resilience, and hope. It is a privilege to hold space for clients as they move toward healing, and I am honored to be invited into each person’s story. I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you in the near future.
