At the heart of all healthy and secure relationships is the feeling of being safe, seen, and understood. Whether with a therapist, with partners, family, or other formative and important bonds; trust, communication, and connection are key. As a relational psychotherapist, I believe that the therapeutic relationship can provide opportunities to experience trust, safety, and the feeling of being seen, heard, felt, and understood. These experiences can support our innate capacity for healing, growth, and integration. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. I work with individuals, couples, partners, and families on the core relational experiences of communication, intimacy, vulnerability, and trust. I work with clients on an array of issues relevant to sex, gender, sexuality, identity, and self-expression across a range of identities and experiences. My approach is candid, informed, curious, and sensitive, while also being relaxed, relatable, and relevant.
