Matt has an interest in working with people who are struggling with their emotions, feel anxious, depressed, or have struggled to see themselves reflected in traditional therapy spaces. Matt also has an understanding of ADHD and the ways it can impact individuals and relationships. Matt is passionate about creating an environment where clients feel safe to explore their emotional worlds and move toward deeper, more authentic connections in their relationships. Matt enjoys supporting individuals and couples as they grapple with decisions about their romantic relationships including negotiating the tension between separateness and togetherness and working to communicate their needs in a deep and intimate way. Matt’s approach to therapy is rooted in attachment theory and integrates Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to support clients who experience emotional inhibition or disconnection. He works to help clients access and express their emotions in ways that promote healing, self-understanding, and a deeper sense of aliveness. He also brings a narrative perspective, informed by his background as an English major, creative writer, and artist, to help clients make meaning of their experiences and reshape the personal stories that guide their lives.Introduce yourself to prospective clients.
