Hi, I'm glad you're here! I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be yourself without having to worry about being judged or having all the answers. My approach is casual, empathetic, and collaborative. I’d prefer my clients to feel comfortable being honest, whether you're really struggling with something specific or just know that something in your life isn't working the way you'd like it to. I've worked in the mental health field since 2016 and have experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, anger management, life changes, LGBTQIA+ issues, addiction, men’s issues, and the everyday challenges that just feel harder than they should. I primarily use CBT and DBT, though I see therapy as a partnership rather than something where I simply tell you what to do. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop practical tools and strategies, and make changes that actually fit into your life. Outside of the office, I'm a pretty laid-back person who enjoys traveling as much as possible, spending time with family, hosting game nights with friends, taking my dog for walks, and relaxing outdoors whenever I get the chance. I'm always up for trying new foods and finding a good cup of coffee. As someone who has been on both sides of the therapy chair, I know that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable. If you feel ready to take that first step and make a change, I look forward to getting to know you and working alongside you!
