Introduction

Are you struggling with an addiction you can’t seem to change? Do you feel stuck in patterns that keep pulling you back, even when part of you wants something different? Whether it’s substance use or addictive habits that are getting in the way of your life—things don’t have to stay this way. I work with teens and adults who feel caught in these cycles, especially when they’re connected to things like stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, or feeling lost and disconnected. Many of the people I work with are functioning, but still feel unsure on how to move forward with certain behaviors. In therapy, we’ll slow things down and make sense of what’s going on underneath the surface. I incorporate mindfulness-based practices and teach coping skills. From there, we’ll find practical ways to help you move forward and start making changes that actually last. I apply methods I’ve learned through clinical training as well as my lived experience. I work with a range of addictive behaviors, including alcohol use, smoking, drug abuse, gambling, sex, pornography, binge eating, internet use, and others. I work with individuals, couples, and families to identify patterns, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change—not just short-term relief.
