There are many different approaches to therapy. As an integrationist, this therapy practice incorporates several methods including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic theory, humanistic theory, and relational theory. My approach is rooted in feminist psychology. This means I pay close attention to power dynamics—especially in healthcare—because these dynamics can harm a person’s sense of agency and connection with others. I am experienced with multiple ethnic, sexual, and gender identities and I welcome kinky and poly-identified clients. I am also trained in relationship therapy serving both monogamous and non monogamous partners. As a specialist with adolescents, I also offer parent coaching and parent support. I have specific training in the following modalities: Emotionally focused couples therapy Dialectal behavioral therapy Acceptance and commitment therapy Parent child interactive therapy Behavioral activation Exposure response prevention Narrative therapy Cognitive behavioral therapy
