Introduction

Welcome and thank you for visiting my practice! My name is Matthew Lunsford and I am a licensed and board certified behavior analyst, clinical social worker, yoga therapist, and licensed educator, as well as a professor of psychology, clinical social work, and special education. I have been in private practice since 2021 and have experience in helping individuals navigate a multitude of diagnoses and life challenges using a combination of behavior analytic principles, yoga therapy, and psychotherapy. I wholeheartedly believe in a collaborate approach to change in which we work together to meet your goals. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders and I also enjoy working with neurodivergent individuals, individuals going through a life transition, and LGBTQ+ concerns in children and young adults. ​ My background as a clinician is eclectic and I may draw on multiple modalities depending on what your goals are. These may include the following: ​ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Clinical Behavior Analysis Interactive Guided Imagery Psychodynamic Therapy Mindfulness Assistive Technology Additionally, I offer evaluations for autism and ADHD for children, teens, and adults along with evaluations for college disability accommodations. ​ I look forward to being your guide on this journey towards living the life that you want to live and helping you to discover yourself and become a self-advocate for attaining your dreams.
