Introduction

Hi, my name is Matt Rojo. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 14 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families heal and grow. I know that it can be overwhelming to reach out for help, and that you're probably only doing this after you've tried everything else. I promise to provide treatment shown to be effective by clinical research, and to meet you with kindness, honesty, and acceptance. Please feel free to check out our reviews on Yelp and Google. If you’d like to learn more about how I’d work with you or have any questions about starting therapy, please use the form below or call me for a free phone consultation. My practice website is "walnutcreektherapists.com." Matt provides couples therapy based on cognitive behavioral therapy, teaching new skills and behaviors, working toward measurable treatment goals, and making therapy a safe place to resolve conflict. His approach is structured, directive, and time-limited, focusing on communicating concisely and skillfully, paying attention to positive change and effort to ensure these behaviors continue. Matt has a great deal of clinical experience and training treating PTSD, panic, and anxiety disorders using EMDR, exposure therapy, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Matthew Rojo is a California licensed marriage and family therapist, MFC46969. He earned a master's degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Social Justice from New College of California. He has been in private practice, helping couples and treating PTSD for over 14 years, and in various settings.
