Introduction

I'm a board-certified psychiatrist trained at Walter Reed with 1-2 week availability for new patients. My practice focuses on sports and lifestyle psychiatry using medications as adjuncts to evidence-based exercise, nutrition, sleep, and talk therapy to help you feel and perform at your best. For fellow athletes, we can incorporate training plans and wearable data and thoroughly discuss how medications affect performance. If you’re not an athlete, or are struggling to just get out of bed - sleep, movement, and routine matter for everyone, and I’ll meet you where you are. When we work together, your goals always come first. Mental health is a team effort, and I value collaborating with the therapists & specialists you trust. First appointments are 90 minutes so you won’t be rushed, have time to reflect, and process. We will include a full medical review so root causes aren’t missed. Between appointments, I’ll be responsive within 1 business day to your questions or concerns. Give me a call or message to either book an appointment or schedule a free 15 minute consultation. I’ll be happy to answer your questions and provide an idea of what I can offer you. Many patients use out-of-network insurance benefits to help cover the cost of appointments, and I’m available to help navigate that process. If your plan has out-of-network (OON) benefits, you can use them to help pay for visits. After each session I'll give you an appointment receipt to submit for reimbursement.
