I specialize in working with people living with chronic illnesses and pain, expectant and new parents of all genders, and people looking for drug-free tools to improve relaxation, focus, and attention. Informed by systems theories and research on the neurobiology of trauma, addiction, and pain, I honor the unique experience of each person, bringing curiosity, warmth, and humor to our relationship. My professional background includes domestic violence survivor services, homeless outreach, and community mental health. I have completed training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, an innovative and scientifically validated treatment for many types of chronic pain. PRT combines education, mindfulness-based techniques, and somatic strategies to change the way your brain responds to signals from the body. I also offer Neurofeedback, an evidence-based, non-invasive tool that can improve focus, attention, and relaxation. I will see you not as just a diagnosis or set of symptoms, but as a complex person with inherent strengths and a unique story to tell. I believe our bodies and emotions are trying to communicate something important to us; therapy can provide a supportive place to listen. Let's create a place where you can put to words what may feel impossible to say out loud.
