As an MSW intern, I enjoy working with children, families, adolescents, and adults, including LGBTQ+ clients and individuals with disabilities or who are neurodivergent. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, with an emphasis on understanding what is underneath the struggle and finding what works for you. I strive to create a space where you can show up authentically and feel accepted without judgment. My work as a special education teacher, in residential treatment, and with LGBTQ+ youth and adults has taught me the importance of compassion, curiosity, and understanding how our experiences influence how we think, feel, and behave. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you aren't sure where to begin. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Wherever you are in your journey, we can start there. My hope is that therapy can be a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward what matters to you.
