This is a space where you can transform the pain of childhood, generational, or systemic trauma into authentic confidence and clarity. We are best suited to collaborate with those looking for a relatable, attuned, challenging, and sometimes humorous approach. If you are looking for a CBT/DBT, blank slate or neutral supervisor, consultant, or therapist, that's not Meadows Agency. This is a space that names displacement, poverty, racism, carcerality, and surveillance as distressing rather than your human reaction as the problem. You do not have to carry the shame of what happened or how you survived. We frequently work with survivors, advocates, attorneys, parents, healthcare professionals, protestors, social workers, and therapists who want a high level of confidentiality and direct communication in their care. As non-pathologizing providers, diagnoses will only be used when required and with collaboration. Our work may look like on-going support through life's challenges, deconstructing supremacy culture, reprocessing traumatic experiences, and cultivating space to express yourself in ways that work for you. We will move at a slow, intentional pace, making sure there is room to build trust. You need to be where you feel best because that's where you are most likely to succeed. Feel free to step away or come and go without strings or hard feelings. As providers with lived experience, we are willing to offer this, when appropriate, as a way to normalize the human experience and shift dynamics in hierarchical systems. It also means we know addressing trauma can get messy. Finding supportive resources will be part of our work together, because lived experience does not translate into being an expert on your situation or your only source of information. If you think we would work well together, send a message our way and let's taco 'bout it. If we have collaborated in the past, reach out anytime to check availability.
